Redemption (aka Gotcha Day--Gracie style)

God is in the business of redemption. That's the whole reason Jesus came to this earth...

REDEMPTION.

And on this day, 8 years ago, my life was redeemed.

God's plan for this world was perfect.

It was never His plan for husbands and wives to be infertile.

It was never His plan for children to live without parents--as orphans.

But...

Because we live in a fallen world, both of these scenarios occur FAR too often.

BUT...

God always had a plan. ALWAYS.

"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." John 14:18

So, God had a plan for Simon and me.

God had a plan for Gracie.

Before the beginning of time, God knew. He KNEW.

So, on this day--8 years ago--my life was redeemed.

Simon's life was redeemed.

Gracie's life was redeemed.

Our infertility was redeemed.

Gracie's orphanhood was redeemed.

A family was made.

Praise God for Gracie.
Praise God for our family.
Praise God for His redemption.

Happy Gotcha Day, Gracie (and us)!!

Happy Redemption Day.
