Father's Day Festivities

Image
Happy Father's Day to all dads out there. We had a blessed day today. Church, gondola ride, BBQ, and family fellowship made for a great day. Not even a chilly North Idaho June rainy day could dampen our spirits. I am blessed to have such a great dad, and to have such a sweet daughter. It was a wonderful day. Uncle Pete and the kids made the trip and we got to spend some time with them too. Gracie especially had fun with her cousins, especially Hannah.

Gracie's First Range Workout

While joining Dad at the Idaho State 3A Golf Tournament this past Monday and Tuesday, Gracie got to try out her new golf clubs she got from Herb and Marylou Kinsey's granddaughter. Although Gracie's dad, who is the KHS Golf Coach, might be just a bit biased, he thinks she has a great set up and swing already at the age of 3! After hitting a few balls, Gracie promply told Dad/Coach, "I'm tired, let's go do something else."

I set up an older laptop for Gracie this week. She could hardly contain herself. She has already mastered the mouse and loves to explore "Playhouse Disney" online. They have some fun and educational games.

A Month Between Blogs!?

OK, I don't know what to say... I am not doing so well with the blogging. Up until Spring Break, I was posting somewhat regularly, but ever since then, I have fallen off the blogwagon. I will try to post more freqently.

SPRING BREAK '07

Well, Spring Break is finally here! We are spending the week in Tacoma with the Petersons. Yesterday Gracie got a tricycle from Grandma and Grandpa Peterson for an early easter present. Here she is in action on the new tricycle! We are having a great time and getting in some visiting as well as some relaxation. Tonight we will hit a Mariners game and tomorrow we will head back to Sea-Town for some sight-seeing. TUESDAY: Tuesday night we bundled up and headed off to Safeco Field to see the Mariners in their 2nd game of the season Vs. the Oakland A's. We had a great time and the M's played a great game with lots of offense and won 8-4. We had a great time and enjoyed the stadium as much as the game. WEDNESDAY (Picture Link) Wednesday we headed back into Seattle for some additional sight-seeing. We started out by parking in Downtown Seattle and then walking down Pike St. to Pike's Market and then down the stairs to the waterfront. We visited the Seattle Aquarium and ate lun...

Time to paint!

Image
We have decided to paint our bedroom in conjunction with the carpet project. Amy had today off due for Spring Break, so she and Gracie got started on the painting while I was at work. As you can see, Gracie has some potential. I know, at first it looks like gang tags, but upon closer inspection one can see the graceful brush strokes and lots of fun shapes and designs! I was tempted to leave this as the final touches for the room, but we decided to proceed with the original plan.
