Girls' State BBall 08

We are down at the Idaho "Real Dairy Shootout" Girls' State Tournament in Boise this weekend. We have been really busy having a good time watching Kellogg compete while enjoying the super-spirited and great sounding KHS Pep Band. We have also been enjoying the wonderful company of friends throughout the trip. We are staying with Laurie Roberts and have really been enjoying our time here. The Kellogg Girls played with heart but lost a heart breaker in the first round. They rebounded in the first consolation game, and fell today in the Consolation Championship to Fruitland. They played today's game without standout Post, Amanda Seeling, who strained her knee in the previous win vs. Weiser the day before. We also heard that the KHS boys won their District semifinal game against St. Maries in a thriller. That was great news to hear. Although I have much more to post, I must say that the young people from Kellogg High School represented our community very well this weeke
